Pharmacy
Union Health Service operates a modern clinical pharmacy at its Polk Street Center to fill outpatient prescriptions exclusively for UHS members. In response to the special needs of UHS members, our pharmacy has staff fluent in English, Polish, and Spanish, as well as translators in the clinic for other languages.
UHS pharmacy utilizes an array of automated prescription services, including:
- Online prescription refill service.
- Automated telephone refill service
- Refill reminder: Our system will call you to remind you that your refill is coming due
- Will-call reminder: Our system will call you to remind you that your prescription is ready to be picked up at our Polk Street Center.
The pharmacy operates on a not-for-profit basis and its low prices help make your prescriptions more affordable. Most important, our pharmacy staff works closely with all UHS physicians to discuss options and provide information important to your health care.

Laboratory
Union Health Service has partnered with LabCorp to offer lab services at its Polk Street Center exclusively for UHS members. Also as a convenience for UHS members, LabCorp also provides lab services via their independent Patient Service Centers throughout the Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana area.
